Fernando Vidal Verdú got his degree in Physics (Branch of Electronics) from the University of Seville , Spain, in 1988 and the PhD degree (microelectronics) from the University of Málaga, Spain, in 1996. He is currently Profesor Titular (Associate Professor) at the University of Málaga. He is author or co-author of 26 papers in international journals and chapters of books and 58 papers in conference proceedings. His previous research activity was on the design of VLSI Fuzzy and Neuro-Fuzzy controllers using analog and mixed signal techniques. His research interests lie currently in smart sensors and actuators and specifically in tactile interfaces.
